At this point I am 1123 Days without a workout break and it continues to be just absolutely awesome as ever. We are well into spring right now and COVID has killed almost 60,000 people. There as never been anything like this and folks are just scared. They are planning to open up states after a 6-week shutdown and with the economy tanking, but I don’t know how – well, nobody knows how that is gonna work.
I had a tele-appointment to see Dr. Raf but that fell through. I have requested another meet up date but as of now it has not been granted. It appears things are changing with the medical services. There is some amount of rationing that is going on and I don’t understand it. I get the virus issue that we are in the midst of, but it is tele after all, so what’s up with that.
Big change with DareBee. I still and will always give props, but they have drop the Daily Dare section – basically the only section that I check in on everyday for the last few years. They said something about opening up the platform. Honestly, I still not really sure what the help is the reason behind it. The good thing though is that the Daily Dare exercises are still posted so I can grab them.
The beard has morphed into a light beard. I am sort of struggling with it a bit. I will just have to watch and see how it goes.
Chey is hard studying for her APs and end of course finals. We have also started looking into schools as well. It is a bit tricked with this new pandemic and not sure how things will be affected. We will proceed cautiously and see where things are at the end of school. Also, she has not been getting any driving practice time in so I am gonna start that back up. We are gonna hit it hard this month and see where we are by month’s end.
Kis has been doing his thing. He gets commission at the end of school and while we are not particularly expecting to be there in person, we hope to take part in someway. He is also (as of this moment) waiting to hear back from navy whether he got accepted in their nuclear program. That will be a good thing for him school-wise and career-wise because he gets useful additional training that has financial implications on his future pay.
(Kept from previous foreword) – Additionally, I have added a couple layers of complexity or demand to my workout. First, I am religiously sticking to DareBee and the Daily Dare; I am also, keeping the preliminaries. Second, I have added a consecutive component – so, starting with the end of IronBorn (9 April 2017), I have worked consecutively. I intend to push for 60 straight day, then see if I can get to 90. So far I am enjoying it and my body seems to be rising to the occasion. I caught the flu a few day before the end of the last phase (around May 2017) – I worked through it and was back up in only a couple of days. It appears pushing through and forcing my body to continue working, I was able to push the flu out of my way. I am also continuing my virtual push to OKC via Benton. I am really enjoying that but I will have to pick up the mileage here in the next phase as I am running out of time. Keep leaning forward.
