JULY 2020: I am now 1183 Days strong without a workout break. My feelings go well beyond accomplishment. I have done something heretofore have never been done by me. And every month that I come to this place, it feel like a never ending discovery of places within that is both exciting and exhilarating.
We are now well into Summer and the corona virus is not letting up, in fact, it has gotten even worse – especially here in Florida where Cheyenne, Grid and I are trying to wait it out. Folks are still scared as heck but such it is. We are still keeping our fingers cross that we can stay away from it.
Health-wise I feel good. My body is look pretty tone and fit, so I am liking that. I am doing lots of running too, so that is helping and my DareBee for this month is all about the weights, so (oh by the way, I am writing this postscript at the end of the month) my body is looking good.
Marcus is doing really well. He is all settled into his home in Norfolk and fully engrossed in his training. He recently purchased a Jeep and paid back his school loan to us. I a really feeling good about him right now. I am just a bit fretful about him being away and driving but that is just how it is gonna be for a parent.
William is pretty much recovered and back to work right now after his surgery. Grid tried once already to close on the house in Ocala, but some issues came up at the last minute and it had to be rescheduled.
Darebee remains a huge part of my life and although I am no longer sharing on the site, I still retain the benefits of the program.
The beard has morphed into a manageable low grade cut. I like how it looks and it easier to maintain.
Chey is deep into here summer review. She did well on her AP’s except that she essentially failed Statistics. She got a 2. Other than that – she did quite well in the other areas with all 4s except for Chemistry with a 3. She is now looking at colleges. I am conflicted somewhat, but at this point it is up to her. She can either strike for the top or just stay in state.
(Kept from previous foreword) – Additionally, I have added a couple layers of complexity or demand to my workout. First, I am religiously sticking to DareBee and the Daily Dare; I am also, keeping the preliminaries. Second, I have added a consecutive component – so, starting with the end of IronBorn (9 April 2017), I have worked consecutively. I intend to push for 60 straight day, then see if I can get to 90. So far I am enjoying it and my body seems to be rising to the occasion. I caught the flu a few day before the end of the last phase (around May 2017) – I worked through it and was back up in only a couple of days. It appears pushing through and forcing my body to continue working, I was able to push the flu out of my way. I am also continuing my virtual push to OKC via Benton. I am really enjoying that but I will have to pick up the mileage here in the next phase as I am running out of time. Keep leaning forward.
