MAY 1 2022: I am now 1853 Days (approximately: 5 Years, 4 weeks – LINK) and still have not missed a day of workout.  Last month was a tough one with lots of work down in Brandon; I got through it and it is all good right now.  We are pushing into Summer now and I am back from my very busy period down south.  I have lots to do here and just need to get at it in a very serious way. 

COVID remains, but is seriously more or less like background chatter.  We still take it relatively seriously.  And I although I don’t cover up as much as I have over the last couple years, I still do from time to time.  I suppose if I stay cognizant that is better than no observing at all.  The Omicron sub-variant is the one still around and China is having a hard time right now stomping it out.  This is having its effect on world economy, so that is another consideration. 

Russia is still bogged down in the Ukraine.  Ukraine, with much help from the U.S and Europe is doing a superb job in holding off the Russians.  The politics and history around this is so weird and complex, it is just too much to even fathom right now.  It is somewhat concerning, at least to me that we are spending so much to fight the Ukraine war and at the end of this Trump could come back in (although I hardly see a scenario) and pull the rug our from underneath the whole mission.

DareBee is still going strong.   I continuing to just work WODs and now that I am back home, I intend to hit my row erg with a passion right now.  I need to do a marathon to earn that bad within the first 2 weeks of May and I intend to do so.  I have to get and keep busy. 

(Kept from previous foreword) – Additionally, I have added a couple layers of complexity or demand to my workout.  First, I am religiously sticking to DareBee and the Daily Dare; I am also, keeping the preliminaries.  Second, I have added a consecutive component – so, starting with the end of IronBorn (9 April 2017), I have worked consecutively.  I intend to push for 60 straight day, then see if I can get to 90.  So far I am enjoying it and my body seems to be rising to the occasion.  I caught the flu a few day before the end of the last phase (around May 2017) – I worked through it and was back up in only a couple of days.  It appears pushing through and forcing my body to continue working, I was able to push the flu out of my way.  I am also continuing my virtual push to OKC via Benton.  I am really enjoying that but I will have to pick up the mileage here in the next phase as I am running out of time. Keep leaning forward.
