JUNE 1 2023: I am now 2249 Days (approximately: 6 Years, 1 Month, 0 Weeks – LINK) and still maintaining my workout streak.  I have not been as deligent with my keeping this log up.  I think the reason is that I am always procrastinating and waiting for a good time to sit down and do it.  If I make it relatively short and simple, then I will not have that excuse.  So this month is my attempt at this. 

Physical – I am feeling pretty good generally speaking.  Over the last couple months I have honed my lifting project and it has paid pretty good dividends.  I have lost quite a bit of fat weigh and I am now just tweaking my system.  I am still experiencing some issues with lower back – right side.  The pains in my right bicep and left lower arm is pretty much gone.  I held off a bit to give the left arm some time to heal and that was great.  Now the right shoulder is the issue.  I have given rest and try many things but it is a bit more persistent.  I this month, since I am pretty much at the weight that I want to be, I will pay more attention. Sleep is coming a long quite well, I am maintaining pretty high numbers there and I think that is helping tremendously with my body and feeling rested. 

Financials –  The last few weeks are so, the debt limit has been the issue, but we are pretty much through that (somewhat) right now.  The house voted last night to push it to the Senate, and the hope is that it will be a non-issue to prevent a default.  Outside of that, portfolio is looking good.  Crypto is not really and issue right now, it is on the back burner. 

Socio/Political – Locally, we just voted in a new Major – Donna Deegan.  I hope and wish that she is able to get a lot done for our community. Things are heating up a bit with the Repubs – DeSantis and Trump are just dragging politics in the nastiest of places,.  I try my best to consume as little of that stuff as possible, so my brain is not really attached to that.   The rage now is AI.  It has taken over the internet by storm and is just about everywhere already.  The folks creating it, is asking for regulation based on what they perceive to be an inherent danger.

World:
Russia -Ukraine – not much change here.  Ukraine apparent will be going on a counteroffensive here, but it is what it is.  China relatively quite, Germany is in a recession and Britain is in a death spiral.  Uganda just past a pretty serious law to punish homosexual with the death penalty under certain circumstances.

Goals:
Spanish –  Continuing my study streak since 9AUG2022.  I have slowed down quite a bit in recent months but I am gonna speed it back up.  I have also added another program to help with vocabulary – Drops

DareBee
Still have not missed a day of Daily Dare.  My focus right now is lifting and getting stronger, so I have limited my the scope of my workout to cover as much in short a time as possible. 

(Kept from previous foreword) – Additionally, I have added a couple layers of complexity or demand to my workout.  First, I am religiously sticking to DareBee and the Daily Dare; I am also, keeping the preliminaries.  Second, I have added a consecutive component – so, starting with the end of IronBorn (9 April 2017), I have worked consecutively.  I intend to push for 60 straight day, then see if I can get to 90.  So far I am enjoying it and my body seems to be rising to the occasion.  I caught the flu a few day before the end of the last phase (around May 2017) – I worked through it and was back up in only a couple of days.  It appears pushing through and forcing my body to continue working, I was able to push the flu out of my way.  I am also continuing my virtual push to OKC via Benton.  I am really enjoying that but I will have to pick up the mileage here in the next phase as I am running out of time. Keep leaning forward.
